![]() ![]() Yes, they announced in-placed upgrades earlier. ![]() Then MS announces SFB 2015 and lots of other migrations (including my present one) went into hibernation because we're not going to lab a product that's about to be obsolete in 6 months when we're a full scale install that utilizes all the modalities available in the product.īy the time MS started demo'ing in-place upgrades of 2013 to 2015 we had already torn down our 2013 lab and moved on to other projects. lots of those migrations weren't even done until late 2014. Most lync 2013 migrations focused on feature parity with lync 2010 so adding pchat at migration time was low priority. ![]() Well requiring a separate client to use it sucked, so nobody used it before lync 2013 unless they were desperate or drinking kool-aid like a fat kid in the desert. ![]()
